ROY AYERS :: "West Coast Vibes" :: White Label Promo You are bidding on a copy of Roy Ayers's "West Coast Vibes" circa 1963 in rare white label promo form.

The LP has been well loved in its day. There are no significant, bold scratches but many light ones, visible throughout the playing surface on both sides. Some surface noise will be present, clicks with the occasional pop, but no constant hiss. Despite the visible wear, which manifests itself audibly enough to be noticeable, it in no way overpowers the music. The album is quite listenable and very enjoyable and has been play tested throughout. There are no skips, hiccups, or overwhelming bouts of noise. There is an occasion or two on each side with a prominent pop for a handful of revolutions then only clicks scattered regularly throughout.

I randomly selected a 60 second clip to record to give an example of the sound quality of the LP. You can hear a couple pops in this recording but otherwise very nice tone. This is consistent throughout the entire LP: https://soundcloud.com/underdogautopsy/westcoastvibes-ebay.

The cover grades VG-. The upper seam is split about 2/3 of the way, there are a couple "x"s written in ink by song titles on the back, plus one small stain near the lower seam. Bit of edge wear to lower seam and spine but not splitting and spine artist/title is 100% legible. Front artwork is strong, as visible in photo, with only minor rubbing/ring wear near the top. Promo status is stamped on back, as visible in photo.
