"RUBBER BISCUIT" - THE CHIPS - b/w " OH MY DARLIN' "
I can't believe I found this Chip's record; they're rare, and this one is incredible fantastic!! Very very clean record, and in it's original sleeve. Reasonably priced - this is a very rare and special recording.
The history of the records I sell is important and interesting. We bought out the entire inventory of an old closed up record shop in NYC back in the 70's - Many many cases of new 78's and this Rubber Biscuit copy was among them. We boxed all the records, and they were stored all these years; untouched and sitting for decades until now. The shop only sold new records, and I am certain this is a record that has never been retailed and has no signs of being played. I do not test play the records; we just gently clean them and let them air dry. No sheen or shine products at all - the scans are of the actual record, and I guarantee the item is as described. There are a few very minor surface scuffs, a small scratch which are small and hardly worth mentioning, on the "B" side. There is an indentation on the starting area on the "A" side which looks like the record was clamped and handled that way when it was pressed. It's in-between the actual grooves. I think it's visible in the scans. These small imperfections are common with these 78's, but I describe the items as best as I can. I don't see anything that would effect the play performance of the record. This is the best copy and cleanest "Rubber Biscuit" I have ever seen. I've heard they only pressed a limited amount of #803, as it was pretty much a flop at the time; it didn't make the charts. Feel free to ask any questions, and comments welcome.

I pack the records very carefully, using several layers of bubblewrap, and surrounding the record using 1" thick rigid foam board, then boxing it. USPS Priority mail shipping, and I include insurance to the records full value. I never had a DOA.
