Greetings RUSH fans,

First of all, congratulations to Geddy, Alex, and Neil on (finally!!!) getting inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 18, 2013!  Bid assured that you will own a piece of Rock and Roll history with this very item.

Aside: I’ve been a dedicated RUSH fan and collector since 1983 (30 Years!!!), but sadly, for me the time has come to sell the remainder of my RUSH collection.  Take note that I am selling many rare items in the weeks ahead, including paper products (programs, books), Vinyl (including a few ultra-rare pieces – e.g., Moon records 12” and 7”), and a few posters/banners (e.g., the coveted Neil Peart Tama tapestry from the Signals sessions!)  So please view my other auctions, and look for future RARE RUSH auctions from “millennium_force” in the months of May, June, and July.

The item for sale here is a beautiful rarity from 1977.  Everything Your Listeners Ever Wanted to Hear by Rush... But You Were Afraid to Play is a rare promo recording. All of the songs on the record had been previously released on other albums by the band up until that point. Copies of the record were given to radio stations in North America, as it featured material fit for radio airplay.  However no material from the band's first album appears on the promo. This is also the first time edited versions of 2112 (Overture/Temples of Syrinx) and The Fountain of Lamneth (Bacchus Plateau) were released on an album. Unlike other Rush promos, this LP was not actually released nor listed on any Rush discography.

Condition: vinyl: excellent; exterior jacket: very good.  For it's 36 year old age, this piece is in great shape!! 

ALL items in my collection reside, and have resided, in a smoke- and pet-free home.
