Description
This is the very rare original RUSSELL WOOLLEN "QUARTET FOR FLUTE & STRINGS" LP on TRANSITION RECORDS TRLP-15, with original rare booklet. it also includes 2 newspaper clippings about Russell and a typed letter to Mr. Hume who was a classical music critic for the Washington post. The rare booklet is Near Mint with minimal wear as pictured. The original vinyl is very thick and flat edged. it is a very strong VG++ with some light surface marks / scuffs. It has a glossy finish. Label on Andante side is Excellent. label on Comodo side is VG+ with a few minimal spots. the top half of the label has come unglued as pictured but can easily be glued back down and become excellent. the LP comes in a nice rounded see through plastic inner sleeve. jacket is Vg+ with some light shelf wear and a 1" seam split on the top right open end. Light seam fraying in a few spots. the open end has some small border chips as pictured. The typed letter to Mr. Hume & the 2 newspaper clippings about WOOLLEN are from 1957.
