Description
Radio Birdman- New Race/TV Eye seminal 1977 Australian garage punk,this was their debut 7"vinyl single on Trafalger Records.This had been picked up for distribution by WEA records before it's actual release,hence all copies except the original 20 promos came in generic company sleeves.Generally thought to be a single pressing of perhaps 1000+ copies,it turns out the second pressing had the words distributed by WEA printed in very small letters on the label
(check the image at discogs),while this pressing doesn't,one of around 300 copies.This is a nice copy which appears barely played,which in a sense is a shame,because it has large promotional A,hand lettered in gold across both labels,
with 2RSR(Sydney community radio station Radio Skid Row),who obviously hardly played it.A legendary slab of Oz musical history.
