Description
Radio Birdman "Radios Appear" 1977 vinyl LP test pressing.
This item is a bit of a rarity... atest pressing of Birdman's first LP. It was produced so that allthose involved could approve the mastering of the studio tapes in thetransfer to vinyl. There would have been one for each band member,and at least one each for Mike McMartin (Trafalgar Records) andCharles Fischer (producer), plus maybe one or two others. Probably nomore than a dozen in all.
The track listing is hand-written onboth A and B sides (could be by Deniz – looks like a doctor'sscribble – but not certain) and the B-side carries the hand-writtennotation “TRL 1001”; despite the number, it is still probably the first ever release for Trafalgar records (apologies for the earlier incorrect designation of "TRL 001".
Played at least once but (probably) notmuch more.

PS Deniz has been in touch to say that the "scribble" is not his, so the author will forever remain a mystery.
