Original German import Beacon label stereo press LP. 

The second Ram Jam Holder album recorded in London in early 1969 and released in July. Ram Jam Holder was originally from Guyana and moved to London in 1962, working as a musician and actor. He was a member of Geno Washington's Ram Jam Band and went solo in 1969 releasing Black London Blues. His acting career was also taking off and although he released two more albums in 1971 & 1975, today he is probably best known as Porkpie from Channel 4's Desmond's.

This is the original German press imported back into the UK, with the white & black Beacon labels and the A-1 A-1 matrices and A-1 A-1 stampers of the very first presses.
  The stickered CBS/Made In Germany fully laminated sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some very light edge/corner wear and some light laminate rubbing on the cover. The spine is intact, and fully readable, the plain company inner is intact & is in EX condition.   The record is in visually EX condition, with only a couple of faint hairlines/scuffs and small areas of light bag scuffing visible on each side. The labels are in EX+ condition, clean & bright with evidence of one or two faint spindle markings and the record retains its original shine.   The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is very brief background noise during the run in grooves. Overall, a really great, loud & clear listen.   The matrix nos. are; BEAS-2, A= stamper A-1, B= stamper A-1. This is one of the earliest copies of the 1st press of the original 1969 stereo issue of this album!
