Description

Up for auction is the very sought after LP "For The Sake of the Song" by Townes Van Zandt on Poppy Records #PYS-40,001 from 1968. This is the original pressing on Poppy Records and not a later reissue. Visually graded using Goldmine standards, the vinyl rates a VG+ with very nice shine and light surface wear (Side two is a VG++). The jacket rates a good+ with edge wear, a taped bottom seam, a punch hole and some staining. Very tough to find in any condition. It will be shipped in a sturdy record mailer in a protective plastic sleeve with the record outside of the jacket to prevent splits. Don't miss out! Please see my other sales and auctions  for more rare records.
