This is an original US vinyl pressing on Poppy PYS-40,001 from 1968.    This was his first album.    He was an American singer/songwriter who is more famous now then when he was alive.    This album was produced by Jack Clement and Jim Malloy.    The liner noters are by Mickey Newbury ( spelled Newberry on the album cover).    Cover art is by Milton Glaser.

Overall Condition is : Cover is M- /  Record is presumed M

The cover is Mint minus with no ring wear, no writing , and no seam splits.   It's still sealed in the original shrink wrap.     There is light wear on the shrink wrap.    There is a punch hole at lower left.     There are slight bumps on the bottom corners.    

The songs are : For The Sake Of The Song, Tecumseh Valley, Many A Fine Lady, Quick Silver Daydreams Of Maria, Waitin' Around To Die, I'll Be There In The Morning, Sad Cinderella, The Velvet Voices, Talkin' Karate Blues, All Your Young Servants, and Sixteen Summers Fifteen Falls.

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.  

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )      The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 6 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 22 ounces ( 1 pound, 6 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.      ( Buyers from Brazil must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )      I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
