This album is just one of a very large collection I now have - the previous owner purchased the albums at the time of issue , and assures me many were played Once to transfer on to cassette tape. The album sleeves have been stored in thick pvc sleeves since issue - hence the condition is outstanding.

Personnel: David Byron (vocals); Ken Hensley (guitar, keyboards, percussion); Mick Box (guitar); Gary Thain (bass); Lee Kerslake (drums, percussion).Recorded at Landsdowne Studios, London in March and April, 1972. Includes liner notes by Ken Hensley.The remastered British special-edition release features a vinyl-inspired design.Although renowned heavy metal singer Ronnie James Dio would become the eventual undisputed "expert" on dungeons, dragons, and wizards, one of the first heavy metal bands to tackle such subject matter was Uriah Heep on their 1972 release, DEMONS AND WIZARDS.But just as the band went "medieval" on us, they also issued their best straight-ahead rocker (and biggest U.S. hit), "Easy Livin," which was eventually covered by '80s shock rockers W.A.S.P. Other Heep highlights include the album-opening folk rocker "The Wizard" (not the same similarly-titled song by another British metal band--Black Sabbath) and the space rocker "Traveller in Time."

Condition Of Vinyl:- No signs of marks or wear at all .............. No label wear , only a trace of spindle use : MINT minus condition.

Condition Of Sleeve:- Barely any signs of use ................... Beautifully bright , crisp and clean : MINT minus condition.

The Lyric Liner Sleeve is also in MINT minus condition.

All items are graded Audio / Visually , and played on a high grade system

Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I understand the requirements in the gradings of discs and sleeves , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised

I grade items ( using the UK Record Collector Grading System) beneath a light , to be sure of condition

I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as STUNNING !! RARE !! AWESOME !! , padded out with grossly long winded 'descriptions' ..... Many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and does not correspond with the actual facts , and would be laughable but for the fact it is totally misleading. I take time and care to graded items correctly , and only list quality records , with concise , accurate grading descriptions

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest !) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists 'live' ( I saw The Beatles twice and Segovia !)

I began selling professionally in 1976 , and have a wide knowledge of the items I sell (and always learning !) having bought copies of my own at time of issue , always being interested in the sleeve , label and disc variations. If you have any queries , I will do my best to answer correctly
