Description

This original LP is in excellent condition, clearly not played at too many parties. The cover has some very slight fading around the edges but is generally in extremely good condition for its age and genre. The record label is totally unmarked giving a genuine Mint appearance. The vinyl has a few surface scuffs and a stylus scratch on side 1 track 1 that can be felt with a finger but results in only one discernible click (no skip) at one minute 25 seconds into the track. There is also one further click towards the end of side 1 track 6. All other tracks are clear of any audio defect. Tracks are from Lester Sterling, Val Bennett, Tommy McCook, Ethiopians, Derrick Morgan, Lloyd Tyrell, Versatiles, Termites, Premo & Joe and Alton Ellis who delivers a fine reggae version of Paul Anka's Diana. 99% of the LP can be considered Ex but with the 2 slight clicks I offer it as VG. All tracks have been audio checked using an "audio-technica" AT-LP120-USB direct drive professional turntable while viewing the "Audacity" spectrographic representation on play through.
