Description
Here is the Holy Grail of Record for record collectors, the Beatles Butcher Cover for their album Yesterday and Today. The cover is not the regular smooth cover that most records come in, but the rough surface that this record is known for. Also, the slight curve to the square shape of the cover is the clincher which proves it is the original cover. The damage on the cover shows the other trunk cover originally cover this cover, making the record the third state cover. Note the photos of the spine show what is left of the title because the sleeve has been significantly damaged. The bottom part of the cover has been detached. All of the photos give a good idea of the cover's condition. The record itself I grade in Fair condition, meaning there will be scratching as the record plays. If it jumps, I do not know because I no longer have a record player. I show two significant scratches on the record itself in the photos. Two letters come with the record. They talk about a replacement cover and a request to get this cover back.
Anyone who takes the time to restore the cover can make a profit by reselling it.
I can ship this to mainland Canada and the US, but not Alaska, Hawaii, or the Northwest Territories. Places between California and Newfoundland are all OK. It takes about 3 days for your payment to reach my bank account. Within two days of receiving the money, your item is shipped. Then depending on where you live it can take up to two weeks to be delivered. So the whole process from payment to delivery can take up to 3 weeks. You get a tracking number so that you can follow the package to your door.
If you live in the US, please supply your phone number in the message box on the eBay site. I need to supply Post Canada with the receiver’s phone number. It’s on the form that I have to fill out in case there’s a problem with the delivery. This is the safety net that you are paying for to ensure the item arrives at your destination safely. Sorry, no returns. Customer pays for customs fees if any, and additional state taxes according to where you live.
