Rare 78rpm - Paramount Studios Production Record - Mae West w/ Ellington Orch - b/w Bing Crosby with Kitty Carlisle  Production record made for internal studio use during the production process of the film(s) featured here Such discs were NOT available to the public.
Two-sided 10-inch white label Victor shellac pressing with selections from TWO separate/different Paramount productions mx. 79181 -1  Mae West with Duke Ellington's Orchestra - "My Old Flame" - pressed by Victor ca. April 23, 1934 Made during production of film "It Ain't No Sin" - the film's working title that was censored and changed to "Belle Of The Nineties"
NOTE: Some discographies list this recording as appearing on Cosmopolitan label... but that is WRONG.            (the Cosmopolitan issue is dubbed from the film's actual released soundtrack... this is a slightly different recording) This production disc contains an instrumental orchestra coda at the end that was "cut" during editing, and does not appear in the film. Reverse mx. 79170 -1  features Bing Crosby and Kitty Carlisle singing "Love In Bloom" for the production "She Loves Me Not" Victor mx.  79170 -1 was also recorded ca. Mid-April 1934 NOTE:  This is an alternate/different "take" than that used in the film. It is VERY similar, but Bing sings one note differently on this.             (at the beginning, one can faintly hear some numbers mentioned and "Action !" before the two stars begin performing.) E- to E condition  plays well ... Crosby side looks V to V+ with scuffs, but plays well enough Media mail within the U.S. is Free Postage extra outside of U.S., will be estimated and invoiced for England, Canada or Japan Please wait for my invoice before paying...
