The Rare first Pressing of J.P. Richardson's first and only LP "CHANTILLY LACE starring THE BIG BOPPER" HELLOOO BABY! 1959 This lp is so unique! Record is a solid VG++, with nice luster and very clean labels, and the cover a nice VG+. No one knows where J.P. Richardson's career would have went, had it not been for the Feb 59 plane crash that killed him, Buddy Holly, and Ritchie Valens, but his first major hit "Chantilly Lace" was a smash hit then, and is still remembered today as a major rock and roll golden hit. The lp is filled with very unique songs like "Pink Peticoats" and "Strange Kisses" and of course his follow-up to "Chantilly Lace"...."Big Boppers Wedding". The back of Lp cover is white, with very light wear. Some splitting of center. Record was not played much at all...still nice gloss and labels! Vintage Rock & Roll!
