Very RARE tough to find Franco Chiari and his combo Italian Library LP released on the Beat records' sussidiary Pony Records, co-produced with Umiliani's Liuto label. Barely seen and pressed on a handful of copies, this is probably the first production from the sublabel. Tracks are credited here to different musicians just used to sign them like was common at the time in Italy for legal reasons. Among signers the producer Franco de Gemini, session musicians Aristide Bascerano and Rasny aka Luciano Sterpellone, the killing Flirt label composer Pasquale Castiglione. Released on heavy vinyl and cardobard sleeve this superb LP contains some great tunes, spacing from Bossa and Lounge lovely grooves to Prog./Jazz-Rock super-cool beats and Easy Listening. Side A opener is just brilliant: "LUCI ROSSE" is best shot on here, heavy-bass spiced with Fender Rhodes and Psychedelic guitar for a super Progressive beating sound, very similar in style to Flirt records Prog. grooves, just stunning. "APPENNINI SHAKE" is another lovely groovy gem, Jazz-Funk Bossa sounds with organ and always overflowing bassline, a kind of enchanting Western melody as refrain. Jazzy-Bossa on "ARTIGIANATO" followed by allegro Bossa-Samba theme "HAPPY SAMBA". On the other side "POSTO DI MARE" is amazing Lounge with drum beats, panoramic and nostalgic mood.  Following "STRADA PANORAMICA" features Franco De Gemini's harmonica for another panoramic Lounge theme. Enchanting Bossa grooves on remaining Bossa-titled tracks inspired by weather seasons"BOSSA DI PRIMAVERA", "BOSSA D'ESTATE" and "BOSSA D'AUTUNNO". Very Rare and highly-collectable LP!
