GAY & TERRY WOODS - Backwoods

(Rare UK Original on Polydor, # 2383-322 from 1975)

 

Label/Sleeve -> Non laminated Sleeve printed at Macneill press, London. Red label Polydor with the Original Poly-lined Inner Sleeve.

Grade (Cover/Vinyl) -> VG+(+) / Mint-

 

Description -> Super clean and plays with tremendous fidelity and warmth (guess it’s the effect of my single ended triode set up as well :) great sounding pressing though. Just a few paper sleeve marks visible under lights that don’t effect play.

Just one or two spindle marks on either side. (See photo).

Cover is atleast VG+.. Frail cover, all Spines Intact, NO Writing, some overall rub wear and some extra rub marks on the top spine. Just 2 or 3 specks of  tiniest of brown spots (more like dots) on the covert, not noticeable unless you inspect it very carefully.

 

A Folk Classic and essential album in any collection. Amongt their very best and this is getting harder to locate.

This is the rare original and I don't think it's been reissued on Vinyl.
