Description
Beautiful first-pressing Columbia EMI recording from 1960 with early stampers. Sides 1 to 7 are near-mint, perhaps unplayed; side 8 has a long radial scratch caused by me when I was inspecting it. I bought this 20-something years ago in a job-lot of other near-mint 1950s/60s records at a house-clearance auction and I have never played it.
The box is in really great condition, square and firm, with just a small nick in the black paper along the top edge; and there is another along the upper rear edge. The gilt lettering on the spine is slightly faded but perfectly readable. The original inner sleeves are excellent as is the descriptive leaflet.

These are part of a large personal collection of 1950s,1960s and early 1970s Classical LPs I am disposing of; most are in excellent or better condition; including several rarities, mainly Decca SXLs, EMI ASDs, Angel, and Mercury Living Presence Stereo: Furtwangler, Kertesz, Oistrakh, Beecham etc. I am happy to receive wants lists if there is something you are particularly looking for.

I grade according to Record Collector Magazine standards and I think you will like these recordings as much as I do; but if you don't, and you are not completely satisfied then everything is returnable.
