NOMAD WOMAN / FREE AT LAST (GREAT DAY A-COMIN’) Golden World 103. 

Original copy which, like all original copies of this incredibly rare record, it’s not that well pressed, the levels being very low on the mastering. Nevertheless, the a side is a stunning, intense ‘Gypsy Woman’-like mid-tempo monster, b-side is a civil rights tune, riffing off Martin Luther King’s speeches. Two totally awesome tunes, just a shame they were not better pressed.

But it’s brilliant the A-side that makes this record so desirable, form the under-recorded and passionately loved (by those in the know) Jock Mitchell. bid with confidence.
