Description

Lovely original Decca demo of this lovely UK 1960s Italian girl pop classic ballad, and Northern Soul spin by the iconic Ornella Vanoni (of 'Only Two Can Play' fame). The demo/promo 7" is for her UK Decca release in 1967 'Our Song'/'It's Been Good To Know You'. Both tracks recorded in English from original Italian hits. The title track 'Our Song' was actually a massive hit in Italy and Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin) recorded it for CBS as his debut in 1967 after hearing it! This is the original version and much sought after as sadly neith the Plant or Vanoni versions made much of a chart impact. Rare in  any version especially demos.  
Very rare demo of this sought after record. Labels are all clean and spindle intact.Original Decca sleeve - EX. Record has been played a number of times and there are noticeable light marks and scuffs on both sides. Plays with some light surface noise. Hard to find in any condition. VG- to VG only.
