Description
Hard-to-find LP from Robbie Basho titled "Visions Of The Country" released by Windham Hill Records (WHS C-1005) in 1978. Never reissued on disc or vinyl. American primitive fingerstyle guitarist combined Eastern raga and American folk traditions for a sound that was completely unique making use of unusual open tunings. This album is not the usual new age fare Windham Hill is known for. The 10 tracks are intense and require attentive listening, alternating between instrumental ragas and original folk ballads full of Basho's spiritual and nature references sung in a deeply expressive voice.

Labels are in NEAR MINT condition. Vinyl record is in EXCELLENT condition free of visual blemishes and plays with some light, sporadic background noises...sounds great! Cover is in VG++ condition with a ringmark, some rubmarks and light discoloration (tanning) of white area. Has insert with lyrics. NO RESERVE.
