This is another rare playable 10" mother metal master, it is made by PRESTO USA for DECCA matrix #W74261T2A. that number is stamped in the trail off. This 78 rpm is playable like a normal record. They were used to make stampers from and were the very first step in the record manufacturing process. This one is by SALTY HOLMES, doing MAMA BLUES. The electroplated playing surface side has a bright mirror gloss chrome looking shine. No groove wear, scratches, dents, etc. The other side is a brushed copper , these discs are heavy but my portable turntable did handle the weight, it sounds as brilliant as it looks. Sound quality is clean, clear and detailed unlike any standard 78 I've heard. Glad I could make another one available, I do not have many of these and this is the only one by Salty . Do take advantage of this rare one of a kind playable mother master, especially with this low minimum bid, no reserve, and in such great CONDITION: NM.
