Vinyl on the Cadet Record Label CAS 818 . LP is NM. The cover is NM- shrink wrapped but not sealed. This is a Canadian First Pressing from 1968. There is a tiny hole in the bottom left corner of the sleeve. The original Phonodisc innner sleeve is included.

Ray Bryant (Raphael Homer Bryant) (born December 24, 1931 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is a American Jazz pianist and composer.

Ray Bryant began playing the piano at the age of six, also performing on bass in junior High School. Turning professional before his age of majority, Bryant has accompanied many other leading players such as Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Melba Liston, and Coleman Hawkins, as well as singers Carmen McRae and Aretha Franklin. From the late 1950's, he led a trio, performing throughout the world, and also worked solo. In addition, he is a noted Jazz composer, with well-known themes such as "Cubano Chant," "The Madison Time," "Monkey Business," and "Little Susie" to his credit.

The musicians Kevin Eubanks and Robin Eubanks are his nephews. His brothers are the bass player Tommy Bryant (May 21, 1930 – March 1, 1982) and Len Bryant, who plays drums and is also a singer.

Both Tommy and Ray Bryant formed a trio with Oz Perkins as the back-up band for the off-Broadway run of the comedy show Cambridge Circus, at Square East in 1964. The show starred John Cleese, Bill Oddie, Tim Brooke-Taylor, David Hatch, Jo Kendall, Graham Chapman, Jonathon Lynn, and Jean Hart.

Auctions of over US$75 are subject to being shipped via registered mail with tracking - there is an extra cost for this. I am not responsible for unregistered items damaged or lost in the post. Purchasers have to contact me after the auction within 3 days with shipping address to calculate shipping to be added to the bid amount. We will not be responsible for items lost in the mail shipped overseas. Canada Post does not provide tracking capabilities for anything shipped internationally below the Expresspost rate. We usually ship within 24 hours of receiving payment. We have experienced some very slow deliveries to Australia and the UK for some reason when shipped at the cheapest "surface" rate and find it just as frustrating as the buyer does.
