Description
This is a rare chance to own this fantastic 3cd set, put together with all the usual care and attention from the folks at Readers Digest. Some of the titles in the Sounds Of The 60s series are fairly easy to come by (1960, 1963 especially) - this is not one of them! Of course, as with any Readers Digest collection, you can guarantee these are original recordings by original artists.
Features great tracks by many varied sixties greats including diverse chart acts such as Johnny Cash, Dusty Springfield, the Isley Brothers, Diana Ross and The Supremes, supplemented by other tracks which capture the spirit of the times so well, but are less frequently found on compilations - Jethro Tull, Leonard Cohen, Nilsson, Dick Emery (!), Hylda Baker (!) etc etc. It makes for a real variety in the 64 tracks on offer.
The 3 CDs, booklet and case are in NEAR MINT condition.
I have many box sets coming under the hammer now and in the near future, so keep searching my shop for other Sounds of The Sixties, Sounds of The Seventies, both on Readers Digest and Timelife.
