Description

This is a rare chance to own this fantastic 3cd set, put together with all the usual care and attention from the folks at Readers Digest.  There are 20 titles in the Sounds Of The 60s series, each with three CDs.  Some are fairly easy to come by  (1960, 1963 especially) - this is not one of them:  I would say it is one of the four most tricky to find!  Of course, as with any Readers Digest collection, you can guarantee these are original recordings by original artists.

Features great tracks by many varied sixties greats including diverse country stars such as Willie Nelson, Tammy Wynette, Patsy Cline, Glen Campbell.  The well known tracks are supplemented by other tracks which are less frequently found on compilations - hear Dolly Parton's take on "In The Ghetto", Waylon Jennings "Love of the Common People", Willie Nelson's "Bring Me Sunshine" etc.  It makes for a real variety in the 50 tracks on offer.

The 3 CDs, booklet and case are in NEAR MINT condition.

I have many box sets under the hammer now and in the near future, including the entire Readers Digest Sounds of the 60s series and many titles from the equivalent Timelife series - so keep searching my shop!
