Description

Up for bids is a Box Set of Reader's Digest Treasury of Great Music released in 1964. It is a set of 12 records of classical music performed by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London and conducted by some of the most famous conductors of the era such as Rudolf Kempe, Charles Munch, Sir Malcolm Sargent, etc. The music performed is the music of Strauss, Tchaikovsky, Brahms, Mozart, Wagner and others. It is in excellent condition and most of the records still look new. It also contains all the brochures and booklets that originally came with it (see photo). This set differs from any other I have seen on the internet so far in that it contains a 13th "Bonus" record that contains music from Beethoven, Bach, Weber and Schumann and is conducted by Rene Leibowitz. Records are in Stereo. I would think this would be a highly desirable set for anyone who appreciates classical music. U. S. Sales only, please. Pay Pal preferred. Will ship within 48 hrs. of receipt of pmt., weekends and postal holidays excluded.
