Limited Deluxe Art Edition on Heavyweight 180g Vinyl
One of approx. 2000 copies worldwide, this deluxe vinyl box set of Stadium Arcadium was mastered from the analogue recordings by Steve Hoffman exclusively for the vinyl release.
You will not hear this amazing album sound so good on any other release! Compare the waveforms, as posted by Steve Hoffman himself on his website - the above being the vinyl mix and below, the standard CD album - the increased dynamic range is clear to see, and clearly present when listening. Just check out this video if you'd like to hear a comparison.
The album is split across 4 LPs, each in an individual slipcase - one for each member of the band. Also included are two beautiful 16-page booklets with lyrics and artwork.
This box set is factory sealed - unopened, untouched, and unplayed! Truly in mint condition. Now out of print, this makes a great addition to any collection.
The photos really don't do this gorgeous set justice. It's a fabulous collection, and having heard the vinyl mix from a friend's copy, it sounds every bit as good as it looks. Reluctant to let it go, but could use the funds better elsewhere. Hopefully this will become someone else's pride and joy!
To answer a common question: this is the original 2006 pressing, not the Record Store Day 2012 repressing.
