Scarce private pressing with big name honchos lending name and hands.College and high school jazz bands recorded on this killer double set which includes the help and encoragement of the likes of Roger Powell(moog sorcery),Art Pepper(alto,tenor,flute and clarinet),Billy May(arranger,conductor and composer). Really cool production and high quality recording. check out the back shot of the University of Nevada concert jazz band, hippies , non conformists bunch with all the trappings of early 70s hipsterdom.Gene Isaeff ,their director, dressed like a total swinger and sporting some pretty long hair for faculty! two records showing some lite play but excellent clean playback only some very intermittent lite clicks , cover shows a little bin wear.Some really cool Moog work by roger powell. Just one of those cool intimate private releases you wish there were more of. some killer breaks, with guitar and bass solos,most any brass and clarinett,vibes(on psycophiladelfia) , etc.
