Because of the nature of this product, I cannot offer a refund. This protects me from people who transfer the audio from the reels and then try to make a return. What I can in fact absolutely guarantee is that the content listed on the cue sheet does exist on these reels, as I have listened to them in full.
It is quite a depthful interview with Mr. Basho and a great in-studio performance. It might be the most in-depth interview that exists with the man. I believe the title to the second piece he performs in-studio (which isn't listed on the cue sheet for some reason) is "Khalil Gibran".
The piano ragas are not of the best audio fidelity, but they do appear to be recorded in a studio setting and are of very listenable quality. It's similar to some of the stuff on the 'Zarthus' album, which was released around the same time as this interview was conducted. These piano here ragas are incredible!
To my knowledge, none of this content has been published in any form. It was first broadcast for KQED radio back in 1973 and probably hasn't seen the light of day since.
But like I say, they have been play tested and the audio has never been published.
I stored these in separate cardboard reel-to-reel boxes and will also include the original plastic boxes in which they came. All items pictured come with this sale.
This item is priced to sell. I have come into a bit of a financial situation and need to move some stuff fast. This is why I am auctioning off my archive. I want these items to go into the hands of someone who will take care of them and preserve them.
I will ship them with extreme care and add insurance if the seller so desires and is willing to cover the cost.
