Robert Hood - Minimal Nation (Mispress)
more images Label: Axis Catalog#: AX-007 Format: 2x12" Country: US Released: 1994 Genre: Electronic Style: Techno, Minimal Notes: First record pressed with tracks by Jeff Mills by mistake. Runs on 45rpm instead of 33rpm like the original. Contains Wrath of the Punisher (also on Sirius-Tresor Compilation and Waveform Transmission Vol.3) on A2 and three other unreleased trax like on Waveform Transmission Series.
Second record comes with the original Hood tracks.
About 200 copies made.
This was a mispressed repress run.

apart from the wrath of the punisher 3 tracks are unreleased and sound like remixs of Real Life,Phase4 and Late Night (not the late night remix that was released totlly different)

The Mills mispress record sounds like it was recorded in his New York/Limelight phase after he left Underground Resistance in 1992. Hard-hitting techno ala Waveform Transmissions Vol 1.
Rumour has it that the Jeff Mills tracks on this EP were going to be on Axis AX-002, which Jeff never released(whether this is true or not I don't know, but the tracks certainly sound very similar to the type of stuff Jeff was playing around the time of the first Axis releases).
Record Condition = EX (You'd be hard pushed to find a copy of this, let alone a copy in such a great condition as this. Plays fantastically. EX is the second highest grade I give next to NM)
