Description
“Androids” Celebration/ASI Records #CB-5002. Original 1974 pressing. Here’s a review stolen from dustygroove.com. Obscure album of spacey fusion grooves, played by a group that includes Robert Rockwell on reeds, plus the great Bobby Lyle on piano and electric piano. Lyle's presence on the album is really what makes it strong, and his electric piano work in particular gives the album a nice groove at times. There's not really any heavy funk numbers on here, but there are some nice moments if you dig spacey 70's fusion. Titles include "Androids", "Elvin's Waltz", "Todos Nosotros", and "On the Edge". Vinyl is in mint minus condition. Cover is in VG condition. There’s a small piece of paper with the LP title taped to the spine, a name on the rear, a 1” split in the spine, a ½” split in the upper right seam and a 2” split in the right seam.
