Description
Here we have a super rare numbered limited edition vinyl box set from the Rocky Horror Picture Show. RHBX1 / RHBX 1
This is number 2088 and contains:
Outer sleeve box: Black card with foiled writing and 'say it' picture. White sticker to top right saying 'contains surprise package'. The rear of the box has the stickered number. Box condition 7/10. Has signs of wear and scratch to front over the word ROCKY.
Inner sleeve: Black card. Plain. Condition 8/10. Slight peeling to paper layer.
Inner paper insert: White paper printed with list of box contents. Condition 7/10 with small tear and browning spots to the paper.
Vinyl 1: The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Audience Participation) 'Say it' album ODE 132. Card double vinyl sleeve that opens to show the theater audience in their costumes. Both records appear to be in fantastic condition. I'm genuinely not even sure if these have been played. The paper sleeves for the vinyl are complete but have suffered some browning spots due to their age.
Vinyl 2: The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Original Soundtrack ) OSV 21653. Card record sleeve in fantastic condition. Paper sleeve and vinyl itself look untouched.
Vinyl 3: The Rocky Horror Show (Original Roxy Cast) ODE 9009. Card record sleeve in good condition. No damage as such but is very slightly warped. Opens up to show cast pictures inside. Paper sleeve for record shows Tim Curry. No physical damage to sleeve but does have brown spots. Vinyl itself once again looks mint.
The only thing missing is the 'surprise package' which was a bag of paper confetti. I say missing, a few bits are still stuck inside the box.
This genuinely very rare. I cannot find another on eBay or anywhere.
No idea of it's value. I'll leave that up to you. I've started the auction at what I believe to be a reasonable price.
I will cover its value according to its sale price at a flat cost of £4.10 to the buyer.
