Description
This auction is for a copy of the Rods N' Ratfinks LP by Mr. Gasser & The Weirdos on Capital Records from 1964. As I'm sure you know, this record features Ed "Big Daddy" Roth himself playing in the band, as well as some of his most classic artwork on the cover. This record is very RARE and highly desired by Ed Roth collectors, as well as fans of surf and garage music.
I would grade the cover as G++ or VG, but I am conservative in grading this. It has no tears, tape or splits anywhere, but does have dirt/wear to the front and mainly back, with dirt in a ring wear pattern on the top. There is slight creasing on the front and back right side of the cover, and a minor one on the bottom. Overall though, this is a very good looking copy considering age and usual condition it is found in, and could most likely be cleaned up with care. It would still look great framed and hung up in your shop!
Vinyl is VG with minor scratching and wear, but nothing major at all. Hard to find a copy with vinyl this clean really. Includes Capital Records inner sleeve that has a small tear on bottom and other damage. Easy to replace and very common.
