Description
Columbia LP FC 39290
Cover shows some minor shelf wear.
Sleeve is original cover sleeve w/lyrics in very good shape, some creases.
LP shows minor hairline scuff marks and static clinging dust. Have not played this in ages but remember it being an extraordinarily awesome recording typical of this era of Pink Floyd. Surely there will be surface noise (this is vinyl after all) but I don't remember anything badly distracting. I bought this at some point in the 80s and have cared for it ever since...I simply do not listen to the "big rig" anymore so am downsizing.

UPDATE: I just played through this all the way. First off, it was a joy to revisit this awesome recording and music. DEEP soundstange and luscious sound, not to mention great music. But you already know that.
There are random ticks and pops throughout, totally typical of vinyl. I would hear these sorts of things on brand new vinyl, just know this isn't Mobile Fidelity/JVC Japanese vinyl quiet stuff. It's intrinsic to what we would get from typical US pressings from this era. Low level surface noise is very low -- these are pretty clean grooves.
There was one moment of panic I had at the beginning of side 2 which sounded like a repeated clunk but then I realized that was part of the background sound effects!
Overall a superb listening experience with the warmth and depth that only vinyl can offer.
