THE ROLLING STONES - 'AFTERMATH'
This EXCELLENT UK 1st MONO pressing of their fourth studio album dates from initial April 1966 release and is on the unboxed red Decca label: LK 4661
Matrix numbers: XARL-7209-1B & XARL-7210-4A
Stamper codes: 2,B/HK & 1/HC
Disc weight: 145g
Housed in a front laminated, 'Robert Stace' printed mono cover.
Complete with its original polythene lined inner-sleeve.

A clean & undamaged pair with a small collection of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Pristine deep-gloss playing surface which apart from a few harmless light inner-sleeve removal lines are totally unmarked in strong daylight. Even close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp fails to find anything more than a sparkling rainbow shine and no other blemishes or wear to this well looked-after disc.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This superb sounding unworn copy has received just some careful play on top-quality equipment. My single careful play-check at volume detected no trace of any groove/play wear on any track or in either channel. There is a touch of normal/light vinyl background between tracks but no clicks, pops or other such audible distractions. Tough to find a better sounding copy.
Cover: EXCELLENT -
An extremely respectable example of this fragile cover which retains a clean & glossy front laminate bearing only a few faint 'thumbnails' but no other significant creasing or wear. All corners and opening edges are in excellent shape with just a hint of light wear. The rear panel displays some aged fingermarks but is free from any writing or missing paper. There is a tiny stress to the spine (as shown in the final image right) but both seams are smooth and unworn.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with some light storage wrinkling but no writing, tears or seams splits.
