1967 - 12" mono UK VINYL RECORD 33.3 rpm press 4A/4A in GOOD+ CONDITION; maroon, grooved label, unboxed DECCA

ROLLING STONES  -  BETWEEN THE BUTTONS

A side: YESTERDAY'S PAPERS/ MY OBSESSION/ BACK STREET GIRL/ CONNECTION/ SHE SMILED SWEETLY/ COOL CALM AND COLLECTED

B side: ALL SOLD OUT/ PLEASE GO HOME/ WHO'S BEEN SLEEPING HERE/ COMPLICATED/ MISS AMANDA JONES/ SOMETHING HAPPENED TO ME YESTERDAY

Disc condition (see below): both sides GOOD+. In general lighting it looks EXCELLENT but under direct inspection light there are myriad small marks and wispy lines. Some of the latter look deeper than just surface lines and I suspect they may be audible, hence 'good' rating. Unfortunately I can no longer play it so I cannot audio test it and so I'm 'playing safe'.

Label: DECCA

Catalogue # LK 4852       matrix side 1 'XARL-7644-4A'      side 2 'XARL-7645-4A'

Outer sleeve is excellent to front but only GOOD to rear due to a small tear top left (please see photos) - a few small creases to laminated front, a little edge wear to top, some ageing (yellowing) to rear. Boxed DECCA to rear cover bottom left. 'Laminated with 'Clarifoil' made by British Celanese Limited', 'Printed in England by James Upton Ltd, Birmingham & London'.

Original 'mono' printed inner has some creasing and small tears but generally excellent for age. It has a plastic inner liner added to protect the disc

Disc labels themselves are clean, unmarked other than some spindle marks, silver on maroon, unboxed DECCA, grooved

Condition categorisation for the playing tracks themselves:

MINT - brand new condition, never played (none of my records fits this: I bought them to listen to!)

EXCELLENT - shows signs of having been played, good sound quality, may have some inaudible, light surface marks

VERY GOOD - played many times, may have some inaudible surface marks or light scratches

GOOD - played many times, may have some sound deterioration due to marks or scratches

(broadly as Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide but the definition of 'very good' allows for 'no major deterioration' in sound despite 'noticeable' marks and scratches which I have categorised further down the pecking order as 'good'. If in doubt ask and give me the opportunity to describe further, send photos where possible etc. Within some broad parameters it's subjective: I don't set out to mislead but we may well have different opinions! Most of what I am listing has been carefully played and stored over the years from new by me).

LABELS & COVERS are commented on in the text and you can email me for further photos as required
