Description
The Rolling Stones - Beggars Banquet
(Decca SKL 4955 UK LP 1968)
This is a UK original Stereo LP pressing. It has a front laminated gatefold sleeve. It comes with its original polythene lined company inner sleeve. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has "unboxed" Decca labels. It has 1st press XZAL 8476-1K and XZAL 8477-3K matrix numbers.
Gatefold Sleeve: There is relatively small & mild area of staining at the centre-bottom of the front sleeve. There is some mild to more moderate rubbing wear to the corner tips. There is some light or very mild ringwear. There is a very small blue pen mark on the rear sleeve. VG condition
Vinyl: There are some light, mild or very mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There are about 10 hairline marks. Several of these are quite long and range from 5 cm to 10 cm in length. They are all, in the main, light surface hairline marks. Good+ condition. The labels are in VG+ condition & show light or mild spindle wear. The company inner sleeve is in Good++ condition. There is some mild to more moderate ringwear & creasing. There is some moderate fading.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays VG to VG+ overall, & Near Excellent in some places. There is some light, mild or very mild crackle in some quieter places. There are no noticeable clicks or pops. Overall, a very serviceable audio copy.
