1972 original 1st UK pressing
Yellow/red tongue Rolling Stones label format in excellent condition. Light spindle trace only. No other damage to report.

^ denotes the inverted triangle only found on the very first pressings and located on all four sides of the vinyls!!

Above info confirms THE very first UK pressing of one of the best Stones albums ever produced.
COMPLETE with the 12 original postcards in concertina format, in MINT condition.
Sleeve
Opening gatefold sleeve with some age discoloration and spinal wear on top/lower edges. Excellent- condition with just one minor tear which extends from inner spinal column to 3cms into reverse face . Does not lift however . Price in pencil on front face .Possible to erase if desired . Circular red sticker top right of front cover . Have not attempted to remove . Still solid and square album sleeve with excellent edges.A fine example of this unlaminated gatefold sleeve.
Thickly pressed, 2 record set with the odd surface mark/hairline occasionally observed on vinyl surfaces. Beautiful sheen and showing a hint of play . Pleasure to view .
Picture inner sleeves made of thick card manufacture and are the first issue originals. No discoloration on upper edges. Excellent+ condition with no rips or tears . No seam splits after examination.
Audio
Excellent delivery and considerably better in some parts . Couple of the faintest of ticks detected once during play. Clear channels for the most part of this 2 record set ,with occasional surface between tracks and during the opening grooves . Tones have that extra loud cut engineering that only these very first pressings can produce so an exceptional sound quality. The bass guitar strings/percussion beats just must be heard !Tremendous depth of sound .The deep resonant tones are unbelievably vibrant.
Comes complete with the original plain white ,die cut inner sleeves with patented/made in England blue text .EX+ condition wih no rips, nor tears.
A sensational example of this awesome Stones’ classic which some rate to be their very best album presentation . The very first UK pressing of this awesome Stones classic and will not likely come across another with the very first matrices/stampers .An impossible discovery and will be a valuable asset in any serious vinyl collection.
