Description

For auction is The Rolling Stones great album Let it Bleed. This is an incredibly rare album in this condition and complete with sticker, inner and poster. The orginal U.K. first Mono press -  much rarer than the stereo version. 2A/1A matrices. Boxed Decca labels - this was the first Stones Decca album where boxed and unboxed labels could both be first presses. This was because Decca were in process of label changing when it came out and also were phasing out Mono production - hence the rarity of this Mono version..

Sleeve in excellent condition- only edgewear around opening and this is only slight. Very minor corner wear. Laminate fully intact. Spine fully intact. No splits tears or writing. Most importantly it has the original poster sticker, which is so rare to find. 

Record still has much of it’s original sheen. Minor scuffs and a few hairlines but nothing more serious than that. Labels are excellent with no tears or writing. Spindle holes very clean. Play test - side 1 has some light crackling between tracks and one very short period of surface noise but no ticks jumps or sticks. VG+.  Side 2 plays even better with only occasional crackles between tracks and two quiet ticks on track 3 beginning. Grades as Excellent. This was played with stereo cartridge. Possible that a Mono cartridge and a deep clean could improve sound even more, although it is already excellent.

Original red inner sleeve with credits in VG condition- some creases and small split on one side but otherwise intact. More importantly this is the very first version of the sleeve with uncensored Bach Choir reference.

Poster in excellent condition.

It is so rare to get this important record  in such excellent and complete form.
