Can we refer to it as 1st issue? yes - I believe we can...It's not a 1st pressing from the initial Nov69 Batch -- on the groovy Unboxed label. No it is not. But what it is is the very next iteration. The 1st Boxed design for the Xmas-69 market. So - it would have been on shop shelves as Let It Bleed rode high in the charts. How can we be sure? It has all the hallmarks of the 1st copies...Firstly -- The labels are correct very 1st Boxed label design with large font catalogue number and inverted tape number...all overhangs from 1969 and the original unboxed design. Lovely heavy-set vinyl - they were certainly not pressed like this in '72. The record comes housed in a true 1st issue cover printed by UPTON. Heavy duty card with peephole on rear. Original bespoke uncensored inner - London Bach Choir still showing!. 

Vinyl (Ex) In really nice condition and has only seen slight use. Under close inspection I could make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an at least Excellent level of playback with a couple of slightest deviations. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A couple of slightest ticks in one spot per side... Crank it all the way up and it will keep delivering! A keeper for sure...All passages are playing with a pretty much silent background...
Cover (Vg+) In very smart condition generally speaking. A clean and shiny front - nice! The rear has a touch of ageing a little grubbiness in the top left corner - generally pretty decent though. Minimal edge wear and firm sharp openings. The spine is 90% intact... Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg) Looks great --- but a bit creased.
