Description

An original Xmas '69 1st issue of LIB on the new boxed label whilst the album charted. Lovely heavy-set vinyl giving the nod to what is one of 1st pressings on the new boxed Decca label - 155grams. Why do we think it is early? Note the inverted tape number which is a sixties throw-back. Design is clearly immediately after unboxed design is discontinued. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in a 1st issue PEEPHOLE cover. Please note there's No original bespoke LIB inner. The inner is a generic Decca inner from the early 70's.
Vinyl (Ex) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Super lustre. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks - notjing troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. For the vintage - highly impressive. Not much sign of background .. superb even into lowkey moments. Even Love in Vain and You Got the Silver play really clean...that's the sin of low useage.
Cover (Ex-) Really nice shape for the vintage and front is clean. Rear is pretty tidy too...no complaints. Minimal edge edge wear. No signs of ageing... Spine is very good.. Text is fully legible. Sight crease top left. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Really superb.
