 THE ROLLING STONES

This lot comprises both original UK 1st mono pressings of their 1965/6 albums.

Both are on the 'deep-groove' unboxed red Decca labels.

'OUT OF OUR HEADS' (LK 4733)

Matrices: XARL-6973-8B & XARL-6974-9A

Stamper codes: 1/H & 1/H

Vinyl weight: 140g

Housed in a front laminated 'Robert Stace' printed cover & original poly-lined inner.

CONDITION

Vinyl: VERY GOOD

Played many times but still sounds clean, clear & full of life. Both playing surfaces are clean & glossy but downgraded from 'VG+' due to two 2cm scratches covering the last 4 tracks on side 1, which can only really be heard a light ticks between tracks and do not cause any jumping or sticking.

Cover: VERY GOOD +

Glossy unscratched front panel with a couple of 'thumbnails'  any tiny spine wrinkles only. The rear panel is clean & unblemished with only some minor toning to the opening edge. Both seams and the spine are fully intact.

'AFTERMATH' (LK 4786)

1966 1st pressing.

Matrices: XARL-7209-5B & XARL-7210-6A

Stamper codes: 1/KH & 1/KA

Vinyl weight: 142g

Housed in a front laminated 'Robert Stace' printed cover & original poly-lined inner.

CONDITION

Vinyl: VERY GOOD

Again, played many times with is only significant fault being a 1.5cm scratch over the first track and a half on side 1 which causes some repeating ticks. Otherwise there are no other significant visual or audible faults on this cherished example.

Cover: EXCELLENT

A really nice clean, glossy & fully intact example. The front panel is richly coloured & unscratched and free from any damage or wear to the corners or opening edges. The rear panel is clean & bright overall and free from any writing or missing paper. Both seams & the spine are fully intact.
