Up for bid is this super rare LP album of the Rolling Stones, that was prepared for radio stations only, by the Rolling Stones as a program aid (as per the album cover).   I had gotten this and a bunch of other great rock and roll albums at an estate sale, from a mega record collector.   I am NO EXPERT ON RECORDS, and so, I will just explain the detail of what I can see and hear as best as I can.   I have uploaded a lot of photos so you can determine the condition of the album cover yourself.  Please do examine the photos closely, as this is an important part of the description.

I intended to keep this album, as it has tons of great songs on it, but when I saw the recent sale of a similar album (seems like similar condition), on eBay sell for $1,500, (Listing # 270761806281) I figured I would list this to see if there is any interest...  :)  As per this sold album description, there were only 400 made - 200 in the UK and 200 in the US... I don't see this on my album, but thought I'd share... (Thanks Rattipatti for your expertise!)  I'm starting my album out at $300, because I am not an expert, and don't know what collectors look for...   I will let you decide it's value.   

Album Cover:   This is in good shape, for the age (in my opinion).  The cover has seen some use, that's for sure.  It is soiled, and has some stains and ringwear... not really bad, and perhaps it could be cleaned, but need to mention. There are no splits in the cover, however, this was obviously a favorite, as the album spine top has suffered some damage, no doubt by someone pulling the album out of the shelf by the spine.  The photos will really tell the story here, but please let me know if you have any questions. 

Album "London" Insert:  This is in really good condition, other than the fact that the bottom and sides have split a bit, so the record can hang out the bottom a little.  Not sure if this is something that you record collector folks consider or not, so thought I'd mention just in case.

Album:  The album is in very good shape, it has some light surface scratches, and could use a good cleaning I'm sure.   However, I have played this album several times and it is really clear and crisp music, with no skips and minimal background noise.   Where the scratches are, there may be some mild background noise, but, it plays through no problem.

Side 1:   Route 66,  Walking the Dog,  Around and Around,  Suzie Q,  Everybody Needs Somebody to Love,  Off the Hook,  I'm Free,  She Said Yeah

Side 2:  Under My Thumb,  Stupid Girl,  2000 Man,  Sympathy for the Devil,  Prodigal Son,  Love in Vain

The album was manufactured by Nanker Phelge Music Ltd, and ABKCO Record Company, and distributed by London Records, Inc.,  Printed in the USA, RSD-1 Stereo

There are some numbers engraved on the record itself, Side 1 = ZAL 9241  and side 2 = ZAL 9206-A

As per other listings, I will pack the record album separately from the album cover, to reduce addtional ringwear to the cover...  seems like a good idea.
