Description
This is a rare opportunity to own one of the most important albums of the 1960's. The Rolling Stones, Their Satanic Majesties Request. Released 1967.
Here is a genuine mono copy from the first pressing complete with the original matrix endings on the run out groove. IP/PI. A real investment for stones fans and record collectors alike.
This copy is in excellent condition with superb sound and clarity. Some minor surface marks but as said only minor. There are no jumps or pops just very light static sound on run in groove. All tracks are very clear and powerful with no anoying sounds as on worn or well played copies. The sound quality is actually fantastic and a pleasure to hear.
There is a very faint spindle mark on side one but as said very faint.
The original red inner sleeve has no splits and is in excellent condition with vibrant red background and white clouds. The actual album (gatefold ) sleeve is superb with excellent preserved colours in the art work. There is some very light wear on the base edge and corners but as said very light. The hologram is very well seated and in very good condition and works very well.
This is one of the rare and hard to find mono copies that are in excellent condition with superb sound.
It is becoming very hard to find copies as good as this one with great sound and no jumps or popping sounds.
This album is part of my personal collection and is the most collectable version due to being a first pressing with an uncorrected matrix and grooved unboxed label including hologram gatefold sleeve and red inner sleeve.
