Description

The Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers LP

Original 1971 UK 1st pressing with ZIP and Andy Warhol gatefold cover. Complete with insert and original poly-lined inner.  A very nice example of this classic LP.

RECORD - EX/EX

Play tested throughout. Fantastic audio throughout. One or two light surface marks/hairlines do not affect play. Many examples of this LP are notorious for having relatively poor sound quality, particularly on the quieter parts of the set like the intros to Wild Horses, I Got The Blues or Sister Morphine. These songs can be marred by excessive pops or hiss resulting from the manufacturing process. This example offers excellent quality sound throughout with very little crackle even between the tracks.

LABELS - EX/EX

Clean bright labels with no writing. 'T. M. L Rolling Stones Records' etched into run out grooves not stamped as in later copies.

SLEEVE - EX

Please see photos. Original gatefold sleeve with zip, buckle and Andy Warhol inner panel. Zip and buckle in fantastic condition with minimal wear. Spine intact and all text visible. Slight zip impression made on Andy Warhol panel (see photo). Rear of sleeve has slight zip impression presumably from another copy of this LP when kept at the original record store. Front top right has small sticker removal damage (see photo). A little edge and corner wear. No writing. No splits or tears.

INSERT - EX-

A very presentable insert. A few tiny pin holes and a small crease on bottom corner. Very light wear.

MATRIX NUMBER -

Side 1 = COC-59100-A4

Side 2 = COC-59100-B4

Record Collector Grading System (+ or - may be added to the grade)

  • MINT (M) - the record itself is in brand new condition.

  • EXCELLENT (EX) - the record shows some signs of being played but there is very little lessening in sound quality . The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.

  • VERY GOOD (VG) - the record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover and extra items is acceptable without any major defects.
