Description

A very 1st press of SF on Uk Rolling Stone.. Matrix A3/B3 - which is the 1st cut. Also, earliest copies do not mention 'Promotone'. Note the record labels mention recording 1st pub which must be present at 1st issue. Comes housed in a 1st issue zip cover. Zip is FULLY operational. Original inner and credit insert. 100% genuine and 100% complete.
  Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In excellent order and has only seen light use. Great lustre. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side....nothing heavy or troublesome.... A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation per side. Nothing worse than some light presence briefly in one of the quiet passages per side. Nothing upfront nothing distracting. And a couple of minor ticks in one isolated spot. Literally - a super rendition though.
Cover (Vg+) I imagine a lot of these covers are going to be looking a bit rubbish by this point in time. This example is looking rather dapper. That exterior image is iconic and only exhibits some ageing - nothing unsightly. Surfaces are really nice with just one nick -- superb. The flaps at the belt level arexall in excellent condition..often the top flap tears off..but not here. The text on the spine is fully legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A specimen!
