Description

A 1st issue on UK Rolling Stone Records from whilst charting. Labels mention recording 1st pub and Promotone. So early...but not earliest. Matrix A3/B4. The vinyl comes housed in an original large zip variant cover. Not sure of the reasoning behind the large zip..possibly it was added to reduce damage that the spikey smaller zips were inflicting on other records [but i do not know for sure]. There's also the original credit sheet too.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Excellent lustre. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slight markings per side - one does just about sound see detail. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Lots of raw energy as you would expect from a near master copy. Expect a few brief crackles in a couple of isolated spots. But it is acing it even into the lowkey fussy moments. And this is certainly a Stones classic...undoubtedly. Only slightest issue is 4-5  ticks occuring in the final moments of the last track. Given the standard dished out elsewhere - very foregiveable.
Cover (Ex-) A real pain to find in decent condition - many get worn or that zip is fused. No such issues here. That zip looks good and works perfectly. Also note the cover does not appear to be affected that much by ageing [unusual] Slight scratch running across one leg - we will employ a black pin prick technique to render this 50% invisible. Those die-cut edges are all in excellent order. Only minor edge wear and the spine is 90% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A super looking specimen.
