Description

This is a lovely UK original first mono pressing of the 'Through The Past Darkly (Big Hits Vol. 2)' LP from 1969.

Decca LK 5019 Mono.

XARL-9067-P-1A / XARL-9068.P-3A matrix numbers.

Original 'unboxed' red Decca labels.

Original laminated gatefold octagonal cover made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd and having both mono and stereo catalogue numbers and identification 'hole' to the rear

Original octagonal Decca inner sleeve with wide red border

The original (and fragile!) cover is in superb condition - just about perfect spine and edges and no creasing throughout.  The flipbacks inside the gatefold are perfect too.

The unique inner sleeve is also perfect and as new except for some light creasing. No splits or tears!

The record itself is also in lovely condition - it has had a bit of play but has been very carefully looked after, there are a few light spindle marks on the labels.

Top class copy for a 42 year old record.  It would be hard to find a better copy.
