THE ROLLING STONES - 'THROUGH THE PAST DARKLY'
This fine UK 1st stereo pressing of their second compilation album dates from initial September 1969 release.
On the unboxed Decca label: SKL 5019
Matrices: XZAL 9067.P-1W & XZAL 9067.P-2W
Stamper codes: 1/BU & 1/BB
Vinyl weight: 153g
Housed in an octagonal, outer laminated, 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover, complete with blue/white octagonal inner-sleeve.
Disc: EXCELLENT
This well looked-after disc has been played with care and retains clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces bearing nothing more than some harmless wispy light hairlines beneath halogen light. Audibly, all tracks play without any trace of groove/playwear and there is just some light vinyl background between tracks and in some of the quieter passages but no clicks, pops or other significant distractions.
Cover: NEAR MINT
A beautiful example of this fragile, easily damaged cover which retains superb high-gloss outer panels, free from any 'thumbnails' or creasing. Both panels inside are immaculate the hinge and spine are fully intact and undamaged.
