The record is in EX condition, with just a few light surfacemarks. They are not scratches, justscuffs on the upper surface and do not effect play. There are only a few spindle marks on thelabels, so this LP has been well looked after.
The cover is even better, with just a very slight loss ofcolour at the leading edge, which you can see on the photo. The fully laminated back cover has no marks and is only slightly faded fromthe original white.
Altogether a great copy of a very rare Stereo LP from 1958
I have a collection of 250+ classical LPs that Iwill be putting up on ebay over the next weeks. There are many rare items. Many SXL - ASD - SAX - RCA Living Stereo, Deutsche Grammophon andother recordings, mostly original pressings. There are many sought afterartists and conductors; Ida Haendel -Ruggiero Ricci - Campoli – Milstein- Furtwangler - Argenta - Kogan and others.
There is no way I can listen to all of theseLPs. I will describe the records asexactly as I can and, in the case where I can see anything I would consider tobe an issue with the vinyl, ie something that is very noticeable, I will playat least the affected part of that item and report the results. In describing them I will grade them ascarefully, visually, as I can. If thereare any issues I have missed they will be very small, as I will be looking atthem carefully in bright light, with a critical eye. I do not guarantee they will be completelyfree of the occasional pop or click. However, I would expect that a good clean would improve theplayback if there are any. Please bearin mind that some of these early Stereo pressings are 50 to 55 years old andwill have accumulated some dust and dirt, however carefully they werekept. Also please bear the above inmind when bidding. Basically, I willtry to describe them as carefully as if you were looking at them in a shop.
