Description
Roy Harper and Black Sheep 'Commercial Breaks' LP (Test Pressing) on Harvest, pressed in 1977, catalog number SHSP 4077. This has been signed personally to me from Roy Harper on the label. It has some scratches on each side of the vinyl please take a look at pics. It has been professionally cleaned by Reckless Records shop in London. The scratches are not causing skipping on my Pro-ject II turntable.
Unreleased test pressing without picture sleeve.
EMI original unreleased.
Almost impossible to find! 99p start bid & no reserve! Good luck!
And so it went a little something like this; a dispute between EMI and Roy was over funding and content prevented the planned release of this album (Harvest (SHSP 4077)) though a few test pressings do exist. Of the originally intended ten songs, seven were eventually released on the 1988 Awareness Records release Loony on the Bus (AW 1011).
The band on this record were known as Black Sheep and included Andy Roberts, Henry McCullough, Dave Lawson, Dave Cochran (a friend of mine) and John Halsey. My friend Dave Cochran was a member of Trigger, which was the band that made HQ.
